Abstract

Frank Monroe and Mira Suvari are fundamentally different. Mira is an optimist, while Frank is a pessimist with more experience. Told in nine chapters and a short story, The Lights explores the consequences of being pushed to a mental breaking point from either end of the spectrum. The story of a man and woman’s love examines the depths of the human condition and humanity’s collective propensity for evil.
