dc.description.abstract | Bob Milo served in the United States Coast Guard from 1942-45.He served during the second world war in the south west Pacific. He served on the USS LST 26, which was a landing ship and transport vessel used for transporting equipment and prisoners. He had been involved in many confrontations with the Japanese throughout the New Guinea area. | |
