dc.description.abstract	Smith talked about her experience serving as a nurse for the army. She signed up and was immediately sent over to Iraq where she had to stay on a ship due to the fact that there were no barracks. Once they were able to settle in a secret location, her and her fellow nurses aided and cared for American and Russian soldiers. She shares her memories of nursing experiences and her marriage to a captain and her romantic honeymoon.
