Abstract
Gardentry is a collection of poems for the third to fifth grader. The poems center around a theme of nature and things that happen outdoors; the collection is also intended to spark further exploration of both science and poetry. The photography and simple art are included to enhance the reader's experience. There are four sections: "Gardentry," "Creatures of the Garden and Beyond," "Bird Words," and "Poet–Tree." Each section includes a glossary at the end for further explanations.
